New York: Jordan and the Kingdom of Lesotho have officially signed a joint statement to establish diplomatic relations, marking a significant step forward in fostering international cooperation between the two nations.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement aims to enhance bilateral friendship and cooperation, focusing on institutionalizing mutual collaboration across various fields. These areas include political, economic, social, cultural, and scientific sectors, all intended to serve the common interests of both countries.
The formal signing of the statement took place at the headquarters of the Jordanian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. Representing the two governments were Jordan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Mahmoud Daifallah Hmoud, and the Permanent Representative of Lesotho, Ambassador Matete Nena.
