Settlers stormed the compounds of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday morning, accompanied by Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, under tight protection of the occupation police.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), scores of settlers , led by the extremist Israeli minister, broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups to mark which they claimed to be the "destruction of the Temple", from al-Maghariba Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals.
The occupation police deployed elements of Special Units in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa to provide protection for the intruders, and to keep the Palestinians away from the path of the incursions.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily violations and incursions by settlers, except for Friday and Saturday, in an attempt to impose full control over the holy mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
