Irbid: The Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) issued 100 health-related violations during the past month of November, as part of its efforts to ensure compliance with the relevant conditions in place.
According to Jordan News Agency, Head of GIM Health Affairs Directorate, Yahia Omari, stated that health teams conducted 691 inspection visits to facilities during the same month, and warned 386 establishments to rectify their situations.
The directorate also received 19 health complaints from citizens in the northern governorate, which were resolved “completely,” Omari pointed out.
Omari added that the municipality referred 22 individuals to the administrative governor for committing health violations, stressing the continuation of oversight efforts.
Furthermore, he noted that the municipality’s workers inspected 80 businesses, whose owners submitted applications to obtain professional licenses, in a bid to ensure that the necessary health conditions were fulfilled.
