Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman opened a Gulf-US Summit in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to discuss key regional issues. The summit brought together US President Donald Trump and heads of state of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.
According to Jordan News Agency, Bin Salman stated in his opening remarks that the Gulf-US Summit reflects a commitment to developing cooperation and collective action. He emphasized the need to de-escalate tensions in the region, end the war in Gaza, and find a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
The US President arrived in Saudi Arabia at the start of his first Middle East tour of his second term, which will also include visits to Qatar and the UAE.
