Giza: The first convoy of Jordanian pilgrims is set to depart for Saudi Arabia next Wednesday to perform the Hajj (pilgrimage) rituals. An official farewell ceremony will be held for the departing convoy in Giza district, south of Amman.
According to Jordan News Agency, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Khalayleh, announced that all necessary preparations and arrangements were completed for this year's Hajj season. This is part of a plan to ensure a safe journey for the pilgrims to perform the rites.
Khalayleh emphasized that technical inspectors will be present to monitor the buses' readiness. Reserve vehicles will also be allocated to accompany the pilgrim convoys, ensuring their safety and smooth transportation.
