Irbid:Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Walid Masri, along with Minister of Youth Raed Adwan, conducted an inspection of the rehabilitation project at Al-Hassan Stadium in the Irbid Governorate. The visit took place on Saturday evening as the ministers evaluated the ongoing improvements to the stadium's infrastructure.
According to Jordan News Agency, the inspection focused on the current phase of operations, which includes the installation of drainage pipes and the laying of gravel foundation layers. These steps are in preparation for the installation of natural turf sourced from agricultural nurseries. The project is designed to adhere to certified engineering and technical standards, ultimately aiming to enhance the stadium's readiness and support for local sports clubs.
Additionally, the ministers examined maintenance operations at the venue's Olympic swimming pool to ensure compliance with technical and safety specifications. The tour was attended by several officials, including Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth Mazen Abu Baqar and members of the Al-Hassan Youth City Board of Directors. Key figures present included Chairman of the Greater Irbid Municipality Committee Imad Al-Azzam, President of the Irbid Chamber of Industry Hani Abu Hassan, Director of the Irbid Water Administration Saleh Al-Momani, and other senior ministerial officials.
