Delegation from Gaza Health Ministry visits Jordanian field hospital “Gaza

A delegation from the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip, headed by the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Yousef Abu Ar-Reesh, on Sunday paid a visit to the Jordanian field hospital “Gaza/66”, to discuss ways of medical cooperation and enhancing health operations with local hospitals as in light of the current situations the strip is going through.

The hospital’s director, Colonel Faris Huneiti, said: “The hospital came in implementation of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, King Abdullah II, and a contribution from the Kingdom to serve the brothers in the strip, and support for the medical cadres working in the strip to alleviate the heavy burdens on their shoulders.”

The Ministry’s Undersecretary expressed his thanks and appreciation for the distinguished efforts made by the medical and administrative cadres and health and treatment services provided to patients, valuing the royal generosity to help the people of the Strip in light of difficult situations in which they live.

Abu Ar-Reesh was briefed on the work mechanism of the newly arrived Jordanian mobile field hospital to provide medical service, conduct surgeries and treat injuries and illnesses that are transferred and evacuated to it.

The mobile field hospital includes three containers, including two intensive care containers containing 8 beds, and a resuscitation and surgery container containing 14 beds and equipped with the latest devices and measurement tools to receive and admit patients, along with medical, nursing and technical staff to provide the best health care and treatment available.
