A couple died and their daughter was injured in a truck-vehicle collision on the desert Nagab Road, while the medical teams at Ma’an Government Hospital succeeded in performing a caesarean delivery for the dead mother and saved her fetus.
In a press statement, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said Aqaba’s rescue and ambulance personnel dealt with the deadly collision, adding that the couple died after sustaining severe body injuries, while their child suffered bruises.
The ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured girl on-spot, who was then evacuated to Ma’an Government Hospital to receive treatment, the spokesperson added.
