JCC donates JD500K for Gaza Strip

The Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) donated JD500,000 in initial support for Gaza to purchase medical supplies, medicines, and basic materials, and to equip mobile hospitals inside the Strip. In a press conference on Wednesday, the JCC Board of Directors appealed to chambers of commerce, urging them to keep up their efforts to support the people of Gaza. The board suggested that the chambers should organize an open day event at the JCC headquarters, in collaboration with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), to collect donations from the commercial sector. The Board has urged the Jordanian, Arab, and Islamic business community to refrain from promoting and advertising their products through social media platforms that have a bias towards Israel, suggesting that a portion of their sales should be dedicated towards supporting Gaza. It demanded that foreign embassies and chambers of commerce around the world be contacted to reveal the massacares committed against Gaza's population, reveal the numerous levels of deceit that Israel engages in, and pressure those governments to back an immediate ceasefire.
