ISO Secretary-General: Kingdom Is Active Member of the Organization, We Take Pride in Its Efforts

Riyadh, The Secretary-General of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Sergio Mujica, emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the influential countries in the work and activities of the organization, highlighting its active role in meetings and technical committees.

Mujica congratulated the Kingdom on its membership in the organization's council during the general symposium organized by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) in Riyadh.

The symposium was attended by SASO Governor Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi along with a gathering of experts and interested parties.

Mujica visited the laboratories of the SASO and the National Measurement and Calibration Center, accompanied by Dr. Al-Qasabi, and was briefed on the services of the authority and its key roles in supporting the economy and business development in the private sector.
