2nd Arab Christians Conference Denounces Terrorist Attacks in Jordan

Amman:Attendees of the Second Arab Christians Conference, which commenced on Friday in Amman, have strongly condemned two recent terrorist attacks in Jordan. The conference, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Muhannad Shehadeh, focused on denouncing the attacks, including one in Hammoud village in Karak Governorate and another that resulted in the death of Jawad Al-Salayta.

According to Jordan News Agency, the participants emphasized that attacks on innocent civilians are assaults on national and human values, targeting the Kingdom's national fabric. They affirmed that these terrorist acts will only strengthen the commitment to Jordan's unity and leadership, asserting that the country will continue to exemplify national unity.

The attendees highlighted that extremism does not discriminate between Muslims and Christians, and Jordan remains resilient against any attempts to sow discord. They praised the unity and resilience of Jordanians, who have consistently demonstrated solidarity through various crises, maintaining security and dignity.

The conference, titled "Authenticity of Faith and Arab Identity," was organized by the Orthodox Society for Culture and Education in cooperation with the Arab Christian initiative "Uruba" (Arabness). It featured a wide range of participants, including representatives from Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, as well as prominent political, economic, religious, and cultural figures.
