Amman:Orange Jordan's Coding Academy, a component of the Orange Digital Center, has initiated fintech training sessions for coding students in collaboration with JoPACC's JOIN Fincubator team. The initiative aims to enhance the digital skills of students and prepare them for careers in the fintech sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, these sessions are part of Orange Jordan's strategic partnership with the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC). The training sessions were conducted in the cities of Amman and Irbid.
The sessions provided students with an introduction to fintech fundamentals, along with insights into financial sector infrastructure, payment systems, and banking concepts specific to Jordan. This training is targeted at students currently enrolled in the Coding Academy program, which was launched in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation. The program is part of a broader effort to bridge the gap between technical education and the labor market's demands.
