Amman:The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) has successfully evacuated the 35th cohort of sick children from the Gaza Strip. This operation is part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative, following royal directives to provide essential medical care.
According to Jordan News Agency, the latest group includes 20 pediatric patients and their 20 family members. They have been transported to Jordan for medical treatment and specialized healthcare across various hospitals, as part of Jordan's ongoing humanitarian efforts to assist Palestinians in Gaza.
The evacuation operations began in March 2025 and are carried out in close coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO). These operations adhere to strict medical standards to ensure that the young patients receive high-quality care.
This initiative underscores Jordan's humanitarian commitment under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, aiming to support the Palestinian people by alleviating hardships in Gaza and providing critical medical interventions to those in need.
