Amman:Temperatures across Jordan are expected to remain 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below the seasonal averages on Monday, providing pleasant autumn weather to most regions. A gradual warming trend is anticipated, along with chances of scattered rain in eastern areas over the coming days, as reported by the Jordan Meteorological Department.
According to Jordan News Agency, most of the country will enjoy pleasant conditions, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience moderate weather. Cloud cover will vary in altitude, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds. Motorists are advised to exercise caution due to reduced visibility caused by fog in the early morning over the high southern mountains and parts of the plains.
Monday's forecasted highs include 24 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 22 degrees in West Amman, with 20 degrees in the northern highlands, 19 degrees in the Sharah highlands, 23 degrees across the plains, and 27 degrees in the Badia. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures are expected to reach 29 degrees, 32 degrees in the southern Jordan Valley, and 31 degrees at the Dead Sea and in Aqaba.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, maintaining pleasant weather across most regions, with moderate conditions in low-lying areas. There is a small chance of brief afternoon showers in the far east, possibly with thunder. Easterly winds will occasionally shift to northwesterly, becoming active at intervals, which may raise dust, particularly in the Badia.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Wednesday, with possible midday showers in parts of the northeastern Badia, occasionally accompanied by thunder. Limited areas in the far north might also experience brief, light showers during the evening. Winds from the northeast to northwest will become active at times, stirring dust in desert regions.
The warming trend is set to persist on Thursday, bringing pleasant weather to high mountain areas and moderate conditions elsewhere. Easterly winds might occasionally intensify, raising dust, particularly across the Badia.
