VTC Launches Online Registration for Over 140 Vocational Training Programs

Amman: The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) announced it has opened online registration for the first training cycle, starting Sunday, at 34 institutes and centers of excellence nationwide. This initiative is part of the VTC's efforts to expand vocational training opportunities and provide programs that meet the needs of the labor market.

According to Jordan News Agency, the corporation offers more than 140 training programs under its system. The current registration cycle allows enrollment in a range of training programs across several vocational fields, including information technology, healthcare, agriculture, tourism and hospitality, food industries, pharmaceuticals, energy, occupational safety, vehicle electrical systems, carpentry, air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing, handicrafts, textile and leather industries, and other areas.

VTC Director General, Raafat Sawafin, stated the corporation continues to develop its training system by introducing and enhancing approximately 30 training programs in several vital sectors. Focusing mainly on healthcare and agriculture, he stated these steps are a response to the rapid changes in the labor market and the needs of various economic sectors.

To support trainees, the VTC provides multiple benefits, mainly a monthly transportation allowance, an accredited vocational training certificate, and field training opportunities at approved work sites. Trainees can also secure employment with partner organizations, depending on labor market needs and the trainee's adherence to the program requirements.

Additionally, the VTC's institutes provide career counselors to assist prospective trainees in selecting training programs that align with their interests and abilities. A dedicated support and inquiry channel is available via WhatsApp at 0798137070.

The VTC announced registration continues through Thursday, October 1, adding that the training year begins on Sunday, October 4. Interested applicants can register electronically through the VTC's platform at ereg.vtc.gov.jo.
