Army Chief Visits Southern Military Command to Assess Readiness and Capabilities

Amman: Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti visited the Southern Military Command on Wednesday, where he was briefed on its operational, training, and logistical activities, as well as the readiness of its units and formations.

According to Jordan News Agency, Huneiti, accompanied by senior Jordan Armed Forces officers, received a briefing from the Command's commander on its assigned missions and the progress of operational and training plans. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest levels of readiness and preparedness, implementing training and operational plans to the highest standards, and investing in personnel development to enhance the Command's ability to carry out its duties efficiently and professionally.

During his visit, Huneiti toured an exhibition of advanced weapons and equipment used by the Command, where he was informed about their technical and operational capabilities and their role in strengthening combat and defense readiness. He praised the professionalism and dedication of the Southern Military Command's personnel, reaffirming the General Command's commitment to providing the resources needed to enhance the operational and administrative capabilities of military formations in line with the requirements of modern military operations.
