Amman: His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday saw off families of martyrs who served in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies as they departed to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. The annual initiative is organized by the Royal Hashemite Court to honor the sacrifices made by these families' loved ones in defense of their nation.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Royal Hashemite Court provides this opportunity each year, acknowledging the ultimate sacrifices made by martyrs in the line of duty. His Majesty conveyed his wishes for a blessed and rewarding Hajj experience to the departing pilgrims.
During the farewell ceremony, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi delivered a speech underscoring the country's appreciation for the dedication of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agency personnel. He emphasized the critical role they play in maintaining the Kingdom's security and stability.
Royal Hashemite Court Imam Ahmad Khalaileh also addressed the attendees, reflecting on the noble virtues and deeper spiritual significance of the Hajj pilgrimage. The families expressed their gratitude for the King's support and efforts in facilitating their pilgrimage journey.
