UAE Intercepts Three Cruise Missiles Launched from Iran

Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence announced that it detected four cruise missiles launched from Iran toward the UAE airspace. In a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Monday, the ministry said three of the missiles were intercepted over UAE territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry added that the sounds heard in various parts of the country were the result of the interception of the aerial threats. The interception was conducted in coordination with the UAE's defense systems, ensuring that no damage was caused to infrastructure or civilian areas. The incident underscores ongoing regional tensions and highlights the importance of vigilance in monitoring airspace security.
