Amman: The United Arab Emirates: The Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its air defenses intercepted 12 ballistic missiles, three cruise missiles, and four drones launched from Iran, resulting in three moderate injuries.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry disclosed via the Emirates News Agency (WAM) the scale of the ongoing aerial campaign. Since the beginning of these Iranian attacks against the UAE, air defense systems have engaged a total of 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 drones.
The ministry further updated the human cost of the conflict, reporting a total of 227 injuries among various nationalities. The death toll includes three martyrs-two Emiratis and one Moroccan civilian contractor working with the UAE Armed Forces-as well as 10 civilians of various nationalities killed in the attacks.
The report follows a series of regional escalations, with UAE military officials confirming that defense systems remain on high alert to neutralize further threats to national sovereignty and civilian safety.
