Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi made a phone call on Monday to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, to condemn the recent Iranian attacks on the UAE.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the call, Safadi reiterated Jordan's unwavering solidarity with the UAE in the face of the Iranian attacks, which he described as a serious escalation and a direct threat to the UAE's security, stability, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
He emphasised that the attacks constitute a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter. Safadi reaffirmed Jordan's full support for the UAE's efforts to protect its sovereignty and security.
