Amman: The Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) on Thursday engaged in discussions with Karol Lesniak, the Charg© d’Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Amman, to explore avenues for bolstering bilateral economic and industrial ties. The meeting focused on strategies to expand the market presence of Jordanian products across European countries.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting took place at the JCI’s headquarters, where the chamber’s Director General, Dr. Hazem Rahahleh, emphasized the necessity of increasing Jordanian exports to the European Union. Particular attention was given to sectors such as chemicals, food processing, and fertilizers. Rahahleh highlighted that enhancing access to European markets is a priority for Jordan’s industrial sector.
Lesniak conveyed Poland’s willingness to advance economic collaboration with Jordan and noted the interest of Polish institutions in Jordanian products and investment opportunities within the Jordanian market. Both sides discussed measures to support Jordanian exports and address logistical and technical challenges in entering the Polish market.
Furthermore, the meeting concluded with an agreement to develop a joint action plan aimed at exploring opportunities for industrial cooperation. The plan will focus on areas of common interest and economic priorities that offer mutual benefits and added value.
