Dubai: Haitham Rawajbeh, representative of the ICT sector at the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), highlighted Jordan’s participation in GITEX Global 2025, which concluded Friday evening in Dubai, as a strategic opportunity to enhance the global presence of Jordanian companies specializing in the digital sector.
According to Jordan News Agency, Rawajbeh emphasized that participating in this global event offers Jordanian companies a valuable chance to exchange expertise, build strategic partnerships, and expand cooperation with major international companies. This involvement aims to improve the competitiveness of Jordan’s technology sector.
Rawajbeh noted that the exhibition, which featured 6,800 technology companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, served as an ideal platform for Jordanian companies to showcase their latest digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies. It also provided an opportunity for them to learn about global best practices that can accelerate digital transformation.
He stated that Jordan is now among the leading countries in the Middle East in the ICT field. The sector has seen progress in digital infrastructure and the growth of companies specializing in software solutions and artificial intelligence, showcasing the ability of Jordanian companies to compete on regional and global levels.
Rawajbeh mentioned that Jordanian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are pivotal to this thriving sector by developing innovative products and services that meet global market needs. These efforts contribute to employment growth and the enhancement of national capacities in technology and digital transformation, positioning Jordan as a model of innovation and entrepreneurship.
