Amman: The Ministry of Interior announced its most significant achievements for April, highlighting a series of decisions and initiatives aimed at strengthening the security framework, enhancing public services, and advancing national interests.
According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement released on Monday, the Ministry outlined several key accomplishments, including the approval of new measures to facilitate the movement of specific groups of Syrians between Jordan and Syria. These groups include university professors, students, investors, property owners, and Social Security retirees.
The Ministry also announced the initiation of procedures to implement an electronic linkage project connecting the Civil Status and Passports Directorate offices across several governorates. These governorates include Amman, Irbid, Balqa, Jerash, Zarqa, and Mafraq, which will be linked with the main headquarters of the Follow-up and Inspection Department.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to implementing policies and strategic plans through an integrated approach that promotes security and stability while keeping pace with administrative and technological advancements.
