Amman: United Nations Secretary-General Ant³nio Guterres on Monday called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and welcomed the release of an Israeli-American hostage.
According to Jordan News Agency, Guterres urged all parties to ensure the rapid, safe, and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid and vital services to all civilians in need, stressing that “aid is not negotiable.”
