TTU and NCTU Collaborate to Develop Labor Market-Oriented Curricula

Tafila: Tafila Technical University (TTU) and the Egyptian New Cairo Technological University (NCTU) have entered into a significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering joint academic and research cooperation, as well as exchanging expertise.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized with the signatures of TTU President Dr. Bassam Mahasneh and NCTU Chairman Dr. Tarek Abdelmalak. Dr. Mahasneh highlighted that this memorandum opens up opportunities for both students and faculty members to leverage shared expertise and academic opportunities, underscoring a commitment to enhancing technical education and regional cooperation in higher education.

The memorandum is part of a broader strategy to integrate applied and technical education, providing numerous avenues for cooperation. It aims to organize joint scientific conferences and seminars, contributing to addressing developmental and economic challenges. A central objective of the agreement is the exchange of expertise in designing technical curricula tailored to meet the demands of the regional and international labor markets.

Dr. Abdelmalak expressed pride in the collaboration, stating that NCTU is eager to bolster its international and regional partnerships, especially with technical universities that share similar goals. He emphasized that this memorandum is a strategic move towards achieving scientific integration in the region.
