Amman: The Mayor of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Dr. Yousef Shawarbeh, and Zain Jordan CEO, Fahed Al-Jassim, recently convened to discuss strategies to bolster their cooperation and coordination in areas of joint action.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions centered around their ongoing “strategic” partnership agreement, which aims to support joint social responsibility programs, events, and initiatives. This collaboration is designed to strengthen ties between the Kingdom’s public and private sectors, emphasizing the importance of shared community engagement.
Zain Jordan, as the strategic partner from the telecom sector, actively participates in social responsibility efforts in conjunction with the municipality. Their collaborative initiatives are focused on benefiting the residents of Amman, highlighting a commitment to community service.
The GAM statement revealed that both parties have previously collaborated on events such as the Amman Summer Festival, Amman City Day, and the “Amman is Our Home” campaign. They have also partnered on celebrations of national holidays and other significant occasions, demonstrating a sustained commitment to public engagement and social responsibility.
