Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, engaged in discussions with the Commander of German Joint Forces, Lt. Gen. Alexander Sollfrank, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and military cooperation between Jordan’s and Germany’s armed forces.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting held at the General Command of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Huneiti and Sollfrank explored opportunities for exchanging expertise in training fields and addressing security challenges at both regional and international levels. Huneiti emphasized the “deep-rooted” strategic relations between the two armies and highlighted the importance of expanding military cooperation by exploring “new” horizons for partnership in various military fields.
Lt. Gen. Sollfrank expressed admiration for the current development and modernization initiatives of the JAF, reaffirming his commitment to continuing military collaboration to achieve security and stability. The meeting was attended by several senior JAF officers and the German Defense Attach© in Amman.
