An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale rocked the Sula Islands in Indonesia.
A statement from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency in Indonesia said on Sunday that the epicenter of the tremor occurred 75 km from Sanana Island, one of the Sula Islands, at a depth of 10 km.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
On Thursday, an earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitude struck Maluku province in eastern Indonesia, at a depth of 199 kilometers.
Indonesia is regularly exposed to earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific Ring of Fire where many tectonic plates meet and cause frequent volcanic and seismic activity.
