Amman: Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan has asked for a series of meetings between ministries and parliamentary blocs, according to Mohammad Momani, Government Communication Minister and Government Spokesperson. These sessions are intended to address contemporary political, economic, and social issues and strengthen collaboration between the government and Parliament in order to find practical answers to pressing problems, Momani noted in an interview on Saturday night on Al Mamlaka TV.

According to Jordan News Agency, Momani clarified that the government has had productive talks in the Prime Ministry with the National Charter Party bloc and the Islamic Action Front bloc. These gatherings were marked by a cooperative and fruitful dialogue environment, as the majority of the nation’s and its citizens’ concerns were covered.

The government intends to meet with the remaining parliamentary blocs, he noted. These gatherings will focus on discussing the problems and difficulties the nation is facing and looking for w
orkable answers that will help Jordan achieve sustainable growth.

He clarified that public policies pertaining to the economy, tourism, and water issues were the main focus of the parliamentary blocs’ demands. Given their significance in fostering growth and sustainable development in Jordan, he said, these concerns are among the top priorities that the government aims to take seriously.

Momani clarified that in order to improve understanding and collaboration in tackling urgent challenges, the government views communication with all parliamentary blocs as crucial. The goal of these gatherings is to create well-defined plans that address the requirements of the populace and enhance their standard of living.

He underlined that the government believes that collaboration and consultation are the best ways to create a successful future for Jordanians, and that it is dedicated to including all political forces in the creation of public policies and development directions.

According to Momani, the administratio
n wants to strengthen collaboration and effective coordination between the legislative and executive branches by formalizing their relationship. He underlined that this action is in line with the government’s plan to establish an institutional strategy that guarantees the coordination of efforts between the two branches and helps the country reach its objectives.

He clarified that setting up this relationship will improve the government’s and parliament’s capacity to handle present issues and offer a suitable legislative framework to promote growth and deliver essential services to the populace. In order to guarantee that the needs and goals of society are satisfied, he emphasized the significance of constant communication and viewpoint sharing between the two authorities.

Momani affirmed that no decision has been made yet on the dissolution of municipal councils, adding that the government is still in the process of holding talks and deliberations about changing the rules governing local administration. Be
fore proposing any legal amendments related to the upcoming municipal elections, he underlined that discussions are still ongoing with pertinent authorities and experts.

He explained that the government aims to make sure that any changes are applicable and take into account the interests of all stakeholders. Amman: The Anti-Narcotics Department arrested ten drug dealers and smugglers in five high-profile cases. Personnel from the Anti-Narcotics Department are still pursuing and apprehending all types of drug trafficking, according to the Public Security Directorate’s spokesperson. They have arrested ten drug traffickers, promoters, and smugglers in the last several days while handling five high-profile cases in different parts of the Kingdom.

According to Jordan News Agency, the arrest of the most well-known synthetic cannabis dealer and promoter in the Irbid Governorate, together with the detention of three individuals assisting him in the production and distribution of this lethal drug, was one of the most well-known examples. The individual responsible for creating these toxins was identified, and his whereabouts were ascertained following the collection of data regarding the dissemination of the Joker drug throughout the Irbid Governorate. Six kilograms of the Joker material, along with hazardous chemicals used in its manufacture, were found inside the apartment when he was raided and taken into custody. Three more people who were assisting that individual in his illegal activities were then taken into custody following a raid in the Ramtha District.
