WHO Chief Says Over 15,600 People in Gaza Need Medical Evacuation

Geneva: More than 15,600 people in Gaza, including 3,800 children, require medical evacuation for specialized care, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated on Saturday.

According to Jordan News Agency, Tedros highlighted the urgency of increasing the number of evacuations from Gaza to more countries and emphasized the need for facilitating the entry of aid to provide life-saving care. He also reiterated his call for a ceasefire in the region.
