WAMY: Saudi Arabia, a Pioneer in Humanitarian Action Worldwide

The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has praised Saudi Arabia's leading position in the region and the global arena, its unwavering pursuit of peace and global security, and its charitable and humanitarian endeavors in different parts of the world.

Observing the International Day of Charity, marked every year on September 5, WAMY stressed that the Kingdom, based on Islamic principles, historical values, and humanitarian and moral duty, is always ready to provide assistance and relief to all societies and peoples affected by crises and disasters.

On this occasion, WAMY commended the Kingdom's remarkable history and effective role in this field worldwide, through many initiatives and programs at local, regional or international levels that aim to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life.

The Kingdom's endeavors include caring for orphans, providing medical aid, building schools and hospitals, and providing food and relief aid.
