Vice President of Human Rights Commission Discusses Cooperation with Algerian Officials

Vice President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh reviewed with senior Algerian officials various developments in the Kingdom, particularly protecting and enhancing human rights.

Al Al-Sheikh’s discussions with Algerian officials came during his official visit to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria upon an invitation from President of the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH) Abdelmadjid Zaâlani.

Dr. Al Al-Sheikh began his visit to Algeria with a meeting with Zaalani during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in human rights, and exchanged views on relevant topics.

During a visit to the People’s National Assembly, Al Al-Sheikh discussed with Algerian lawmakers and heads of committees bilateral relations and a number of issues of mutual concern.

He also held talks with officials from the Algerian Higher Council of Youth, the National Authority for the Protection and Promotion of Children, and the National Civil Society Observatory.
