US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that it is clear that Russian President Vladimir Putin is losing the military operation in Ukraine.
Responding to reporters’ questions, Biden indicated that it is still too early to say whether or not the Wagner Group’s rebellion weakened the Russian president.
US explanations remain cautious about the repercussions of the sudden events that took place in Russia a few days ago, when the Wagner Group announced that its fighters were marching towards Moscow, calling for the dismissal of the military leadership due to the mishandling of the situation in Ukraine according to the Group.
The Wagner Group then abruptly ended the rebellion following an agreement brokered by President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko.
