UN General Assembly Passes Resolution for Immediate End to Russia-Ukraine Conflict

United nations: The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution urging an immediate, complete, and unconditional end to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

According to Jordan News Agency, the resolution was presented during the eleventh emergency special session and garnered the support of 107 member states. Meanwhile, 12 countries voted against the resolution, and 51 nations chose to abstain from the vote.

The resolution emphasizes the need for a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace that aligns with international law and the Charter of the United Nations. The General Assembly's call reflects the international community's desire for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
