COVID-19 killed 23 people in the UK in the last 24 hours, compared with 3 deaths recorded Monday, taking the death toll to 128,126, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
More than 20,479 people tested positive for the highly contagious lung disease, compared with 22,868 the previous day, as the caseload tops 4.7 million, the DHSC added.
