Amman:The U-17 women's national football team has started its technical and physical preparations in Tajikistan for the upcoming AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, which will begin next Monday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the team conducted a training session on Tuesday evening at the Football Federation of Tajikistan's facilities. The session included both physical and technical drills, overseen by head coach Luna Al-Masri, with full participation from the squad.
Jordan's team is set to open its qualifying campaign against Tajikistan next Monday, followed by a match against the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, October 8. They will conclude their Group A fixtures against South Korea on Sunday, October 11.
The competition format consists of eight groups, with the winner of each group advancing to the finals. These group winners will join the four teams that automatically qualified after finishing among the top four at the 2026 edition defending champions DPR Korea, runners-up Japan, and semifinalists Australia and China.
