Education Ministry Celebrates Top International Graduates at Ceremony

Amman:The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development held a ceremony in Amman to honor the top non-Jordanian students graduating from Jordanian higher education institutions. This event, titled "You Are Jordan's Ambassadors," marked the fifth round of celebrations for the 2025-2026 academic year.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ceremony was attended by Minister of Education and Human Resource Development Azmi Mahafzah and organized by the International Student Affairs Directorate at the ministry's Higher Education Administration, in collaboration with the Jordan Tourism Board. Distinguished guests included AQAC President Dhafer Sarayreh, cultural attach©s and advisers from Arab embassies in Amman, presidents of Jordanian universities, and deans of university faculties.

Sajida Al-Naddaf, head of the directorate, emphasized Jordan's role as a center of knowledge that welcomes students from the Arab and Islamic nations and beyond. She expressed pride in the students' confidence in choosing Jordan as their academic destination, highlighting the enriching impact of thousands of international students on the educational environment and cultural exchanges in the country.

Qatari student Fahd Al-Nuaimi, who was the top international graduate from Mutah University, spoke on behalf of the honored students. He praised Jordan's advanced position in higher education and its nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence and offers numerous extracurricular opportunities.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and commemorative gifts to the top students by the event's patron. A choir from Middle East University also performed a musical segment featuring national and Arab songs.
