Two Journalists Killed in Gaza, Bringing Total to 231

Gaza: The number of journalists killed in Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has increased to 231 following the deaths of photojournalist Tamer Zaanin and editor Walaa Jabari on Wednesday.

According to Jordan News Agency, these journalists, who were working for media outlets, lost their lives amidst ongoing conflict.

The Government Media Office in Gaza released a statement condemning what it described as the “systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists” by Israeli forces. The statement urged the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and media organizations globally to denounce these acts against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in Gaza.

Furthermore, the Media Office called upon the international community, global organizations, and media bodies worldwide to take action against these crimes and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
