Transport Ministry and AIG Collaborate to Enhance QAIA’s Regional Competitiveness

Amman: Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, Fares Abu Dayyeh, met with representatives from the Airport International Group (AIG), the operator of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), to explore strategies for boosting the airport's competitiveness in the region. The meeting included attendees from the Ministry's Airport Projects Directorate, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Jordan Tourism Board.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on evaluating proposed procedures and mechanisms designed to elevate QAIA's standing as a vital regional commercial and tourist hub. The participants emphasized the need for strengthened coordination and integration among relevant entities, aiming to improve operations, marketing, and service development at the airport.

The meeting also addressed methods to stimulate tourism traffic through QAIA and enhance the services offered to passengers. This initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the traveler experience, further cementing the airport's role in supporting the national economy.
