Karak: Charity Clothes Bank (CCB) has completed the simultaneous launch of three mobile outlets as part of its "Our Homeland" program, dedicated to serving beneficiary families in the governorates of Karak and Irbid. The program aims to alleviate financial burdens on underprivileged households to secure clothing items honorably.
According to Jordan News Agency, a CCB statement issued on Tuesday detailed that two mobile outlets were launched in the Al-Iraq and Mu'tah areas of the Karak governorate. These services were provided to beneficiary families by implementing an organized mechanism to ensure easy access and a wide range of choices.
Meanwhile, the third outlet was launched in the Northern Jordan Valley/Mu'adh Bin Jabal Municipality in the Irbid Governorate, with the participation of volunteers from the local youth center. The statement announced that these three centers served 660 needy families, comprising 3,324 individuals, providing approximately 17,633 clothing items.
Established in 2013 by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), the bank said the initiative was held with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan, reflecting its commitment to easing the economic burden on beneficiary families to meet their essential needs. This move, which was implemented in cooperation with local community organizations and volunteers, aligned with the JHCO's mission to support local communities.
