Some 72k citizens received two doses of COVID-19 vaccines in Tafileh-Health director

Some 72,000 citizens of different ages have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccines in Tafileh city, according to its health affairs director, Khalid Khawaldeh.

The southern governorate’s vaccination rate has topped 70%, and 500 people have also received a third dose, Khawaldeh pointed out.

The city’s vaccination centers are currently working on administering jabs, as part of the national anti-Covid-19 immunization program, which was provided by the Ministry of Health for people wishing to receive the necessary doses, he noted.

Khawaldeh said the citizen turnout to receive anti-Covid-19 jabs and conduct Covid-19 tests is “average”.

The city’s 9 vaccination and epidemiological investigation teams are “fully” operational to administer vaccines and receive samples, he noted.
