Several injuries in Israeli raid on West Bank village

Several Palestinians were injured on Monday during a raid by Israeli occupation forces into a village in the northern West Bank.

During the raid in Al Zababdeh, southeast of Jenin, troops fired live rounds, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and teargas against local youths, who confronted them, injuring a number of them, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society. The injured were admitted to a hospital in Jenin, it said.

Israeli forces also carried out search-and-arrest raids in other areas of the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem, and rounded up 16 Palestinians.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said soldiers stormed Hebron, Tulkarm, Jenin and neighborhoods of East Jerusalem and made the arrests.
