The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, emphasized that the Kingdom has consistently been dedicated to providing full facilitations for pilgrims and Umrah performers arriving from Tunisia and various other regions across the globe.
This explains the recent opening of the Saudi visa-issuing “Tasheer” centre and “Nusuk” platform in Tunisia, aiming to facilitate visa procedures and enhance services for the Kingdom visitors, Dr. Al-Rabiah said.
These services are ultimately designed to save time and money for all travellers, he emphasized.
Dr. Al-Rabiah’s remarks came in a presser in Tunis along with the Minister of Religious Affairs of Tunisia, Ibrahim Chaibi, to highlight recent services aiming to facilitate procedures for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
During the presser, Dr. Al-Rabiah revealed that Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) has offered a special 15 percent discount for Tunisian pilgrims and Umrah performers.
He also highlighted the cooperation with Tunisian authorities to provide direct flights to Jeddah from various Tunisian cities, including Djerba.
In response, the Tunisian minister praised the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s dedication to serving pilgrims and its continuous efforts to overcome any difficulties that visitors may encounter.
