Aqaba:Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah inaugurated the 'Layered Becoming' art exhibition, organized by the WUJUD Culture and Art Foundation at Ayla Oasis in Aqaba.
According to Jordan News Agency, the exhibition is held under Her Majesty's patronage, featuring over 140 artworks by 10 artists from Jordan, the Arab region, and around the world.
Queen Rania was greeted by ASTRA Group Chairman Sabih Masri, WUJUD Founder and Chairwoman Sirin Masri, and the foundation's Artistic and Executive Director Iman Hindawi. During her visit, the Queen toured the exhibition, viewing the installations and interacting with the artists, whose works include ceramics, textiles, paintings, sculptures, and contemporary art.
The exhibition focuses on themes of becoming and transformation, exploring the relationship between art, material, memory, and place. It brings together diverse artistic experiences and practices.
WUJUD, an independent non-profit foundation in Aqaba, aims to connect artists and communities through contemporary art programs, performances, and cultural events. The 'Layered Becoming' exhibition will be open to the public at the Moroccan Space in Ayla's Marina Village until December 10, 2026.
