Qatari Newspapers Editorials

Doha: In their editorials on Monday, Qatari newspapers highlighted several topics, including the State of Qatar’s commitment to supporting the Lebanese people, noting that an aircraft belonging to Qatari Amiri Air Force arrived at Rafic Hariri Airport in the Republic of Lebanon on Sunday, as part of the air bridge inaugurated a few days ago by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.

The newspapers also focused on the launch of the 2nd Qatar Real Estate Forum held on Sunday under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.

On the Arab front, the newspapers condemned the ongoing systematic targeting of the United Nations and its workers by the Israeli occupation authorities since the outbreak of the genocide in Gaza, which has expanded regionally, affecting Lebanon as well.

In its editorial, Al-Raya newspaper said that the State of Qatar emerged as a leader in providing urgent humanitarian and
relief aid to the afflicted Lebanese people, which was demonstrated through a series of swift and effective initiatives launched by Qatar to support Lebanon during this ordeal, reaffirming its role as a steadfast humanitarian partner to fraternal nations.

The newspaper highlighted Qatar’s commitment to standing alongside people facing conflicts, war zones, and disaster-stricken countries, noting that Qatar has taken center stage during the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon, showcasing its active role in delivering humanitarian, relief, and developmental aid to fraternal nations, extending a helping hand to support afflicted peoples, and establishing an air bridge to Lebanon. This underscores the State’s unwavering position and support for Lebanon, as well as Doha’s continuous solidarity with the Lebanese people in times of hardship.

Meanwhile, The Peninsula newspaper stressed, in its editorial, the importance of Cityscape Qatar 2024, pointing out that the real estate sector is a cornerstone of Qatars economic growth, playing an essential role in shaping the nations development trajectory and contributing significantly to its ambitious Qatar National Vision 2030.

The three-day exhibition served as a premier platform for real estate professionals, developers, investors, and industry experts, the newspaper said, adding that Cityscape Qatar, showcased a broad spectrum of residential,
commercial, and hospitality projects from both local and global developers.

The Peninsula concluded by noting that with billions in trade value and a wealth of new projects on the horizon, Qatars real estate market continues to be a powerful engine for economic progress and a dynamic space for innovation and investment.
