Princess Iman Hospital Expansion Underway, Boosts Medical Services in Deir Alla.

Deir Alla: Director of Princess Iman Hospital, Abdulaziz Awamleh, announced that the first phase of the hospital’s expansion has commenced at a cost of JD2 million.

According to Jordan News Agency, this phase involves constructing a new outpatient clinic department, intensive care units, and a kidney dialysis unit designed to serve 44 patients. The project is scheduled for completion by mid-2025, adhering to the specified timeline.

Awamleh noted that Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, during a visit to the hospital, directed the inclusion of an additional 1,500 square meters within the first phase.

The second phase will see a comprehensive modernization and expansion of all hospital departments, enhancing healthcare services across the district. The hospital, which serves approximately 100,000 residents and expatriates in the agricultural sector, recorded 158,000 visitors in the past year.

Awamleh highlighted the hospital’s significant advancements in medical services, attributing these to its highly qualified
medical and nursing staff, alongside state-of-the-art equipment. Recent developments include the introduction of specialties such as cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and diabetes care, supported by a specialized kidney consultant.

New equipment has also been added, including a surgical endoscopy device to facilitate complex procedures, a breast cancer screening device to offer early detection for women in Deir Alla, and a modern operating table to enhance surgical capabilities.
