Prince Omar bin Feisal Attends Closing Ceremony of National Robot Olympiad

Amman: HRH Prince Omar bin Feisal, President of the Jordan Esports Federation, presided over the closing ceremony of the 2025 National Robot Olympiad. The event, organized by the Zaha Cultural Center at Petra University in collaboration with ZOE Smart Systems, was held to honor the achievements of young robotics enthusiasts.

According to Jordan News Agency, Prince Omar recognized the winners, participants, and members of the judging panel, as well as supporting organizations. The ceremony was attended by Zaha Center Executive Director Rania Subieh and ZOE Smart Systems Deputy General Manager Saleh Gogazeh.

The Olympiad targeted participants aged 6 to 19, drawing teams from public and private schools, UNRWA schools, and participants with disabilities. The event aimed to foster innovation and technical skills among the youth.

Musical performances by the Petra University Choir and a traditional folklore dabke by the Zaha Cultural Center’s Zuhour branch added cultural elements to the ceremony. A video presentation showcased the competition’s objectives and key moments, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of the event.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Subieh presented Prince Omar with a commemorative plaque, acknowledging his continued support for youth and innovation in Jordan.
