Amman: Prime Minister Jafar Hassan has expressed his condolences following the passing of former minister and senator Mazen Saket, who passed away recently. Hassan extended his sympathies to Saket's family during this difficult time.

According to Jordan News Agency, Mazen Saket was a prominent figure in the political landscape, having served as the Minister of Interior in 2011. In the same year, he also held the portfolios for Public Sector Development and Political Development. His political career extended to being a member of the 27th Senate, where he contributed significantly to legislative processes.

Throughout his career, Saket occupied several key positions within the public sector. He was the Head of the Civil Service Bureau and served as the Assistant Secretary-General of the Water Authority for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Additionally, he chaired the Board of the National Tourism Development Company. His career also included various roles within the private sector, which complemented his extensive public service experience.
