Agreement Inked to Bolster KHCF’s Early Cancer Detection Project

Amman: King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) have signed a partnership agreement to support early breast cancer detection efforts. The foundation announced that the donation will be used to establish and equip two modern ultrasound and mammography examination rooms as part of a new early detection project set to launch this year.

According to Jordan News Agency, KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamish highlighted the private sector's role as a crucial element in expanding and enhancing the efficiency of early detection services. Qatamish emphasized that this initiative is expected to improve the chances of early diagnosis, thereby enhancing treatment and recovery rates, and elevating the quality of healthcare provided to patients. She expressed her pride in the collaboration with JoPACC.

In response, JoPACC CEO Maha Bahou remarked that this initiative serves as an effective model of integrating humanitarian work with social responsibility. Bahou pointed out that the opportunity provided to individuals and companies will contribute to supporting medical facilities, thus enhancing the sustainability and development of healthcare services. She also noted that this effort aims to provide advanced and comprehensive care for cancer patients, leaving a lasting humanitarian impact beyond just financial support.
