Police officers on Sunday arrested two people who had published posts and videos inciting violence and hatred in football stadiums.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson said that the PSD, through its Cybercrimes Unit, monitors content published in this regard from any party, to take legal measures against accounts and pages that broadcast such a speech, shut them down, and prosecute those responsible in accordance with the provisions of the law.
The PSD spokesperson voiced no tolerance with any behavior that threatens societal peace, urging everyone to renounce such behaviors that don’t represent the unified Jordanian society.
